Full Circle Obedience School
Basic Obedience & Home Manners

The Basic Obedience and Home Manners class is for dogs 7 months of age and over.

Does your dog drag you on your walks? Does he dash out the front door and flatten guests, or run away when you call him? Does he still bite your hands or clothes in play? Is he inconsistent in responding to simple commands in public? Then you need this class. Owners learn many exercises using positive reinforcement balanced with effective control to teach their dogs how to behave in all kinds of situations.

The commands taught in the Beginning Obedience and Home Manners class are:

Heel (walking at your side without pulling you)
Settle” (lie down at your feet for long periods of quiet behavior)
Sit
Stand (for veterinary exams and to be still for drying paws and grooming)
OUT or Drop-It (when you want something out of their mouth)
Come when called (even if they are distracted or don’t want to obey)

We also work on home manners and adolescent and adult dog behavior problems.

Full Circle Obedience School classes are one hour in length and run for six weeks. The class fee is $110.00

The $110.00 class fee includes approximately thirty dollars worth of training materials including:

An excellent quality leash that will not burn your hands
     Complete instruction manual.

I have known Kaylan Head and Full Circle Obedience School for at least 19 years.  When I first came to Oklahoma City I had a sweet little Peekapoo. I took her to a huge obedience school (Armory) where she did fairly well but she didn’t receive the type of training I desired then I found Full Circle. In 1991 or 1992 I found a puppy abandoned at Lake Texoma.  In six months he was a huge dog; about 80 pound of puppy so off we went to see Kaylan.  When Bubba first went to school he was more dog than I could handle.  When we finished basic obedience he received a certificate for being the dog that made the most progress. When he graduated from basic obedience we next completed the Canine Good Citizen class.  About two years later I found another young lab named Annie and she went to Basic Obedience but Annie passed away 2 years ago. I had called Kaylan when Annie first got sick and visited about what was going on with her and ask what I should expect. So when Annie died I sent a thank-you note to Kaylan for her help.  Well, it wasn’t but a couple of days before I heard from her saying that I need to see Penelope.  At first I said “no” but I had so much grief that I decided to go ahead and meet Miss P.  I took her right home and we have been best buds since. Penelope has been to Basic Obedience and Canine Good Citizen and has passed her Therapy Dog Exam.I can’t say enough good things about Full Circle, Kaylan and the rest of her staff.  Anytime I see someone with a new puppy I immediately tell them about Full Circle and say “Just call 721-STAY.”     Royce and Miss P
